- My Z was a stock US-spec 2+2NA with all original mirrors. When I removed the mirrors they were wired for heat, but my L-R mirror switch did not have the heat switch. I never remember my mirrors getting iced, and maybe it's because the heat function was wired into the defroster for activation.
- The JDM mirror harnesses that pigtail off the JDM mirrors has it's 2 folding wires in the same harness pin locations as the US mirror's 2 black heat wire pin locations. So you'd need a 3rd switch on the console to operate the heat feature, because this heat switch has 2 positions of either on or off. You couldn't use the position of the TT shock mode selector to insert this heat switch, since the shock has 3 positions: sport, nuetral, tour.
